Hello I had read your book The Gadget and it was really gripping! It was interesting about the prodjects and some parts of action but there were some downsides no offense. Just to wonder how come he didn''t die from the radiation and, why his friend still lived too. Though overall it was a great book to read with quite some action.

Paul Zindel is, I think, without a doubt,THE BEST writer who has ever lived. The Pigman... It really shows the reality to life and how most of the time it''s horrible. But it also shows that just one kind person in the world, just one, can change everything. I truly mean what I say. Paul Zindel is spectacular

I would just like to say that the truth in The Pigman is one of the main reasons I loved it so much. You don't see that kind of blunt truth anywhere anymore and I'm thankful that some one was willing to maybe offend a few people for the sake of portraying a realistic idea. The Pigman contains believable characters with real ideas and real problems. The themes are those which society has a habit of ignoring lately, which John points out: 'watch the little things in life, the one's you have control over'.

It's books like this that restore my faith in the world that seems to thrive in blissful ignorance.

I'm going to be honest, some of Zindel's books...are kinda strange...especially "My Darling, My Hamburger." This is the reason why his books are so good though. I'm doing a project on Paul Zindel and so far I have read two of his books, "The Doom Stone" (Man that book is defiantly the best I have ever read), and "The Pigman" (Which is also very good). I want to be a writer someday too and his style is a great inspiration!!!

The Pigman was a truly touching novel that inspired plenty of people across Amercia. Nobody can disagree that this was a great book.
